In Windows 10, settings and controls are divided into two menus – the Settings menu and the traditional Control Panel. But if you want to access every setting on your computer through a single folder, you must enable the ‘GOD MODE’.

What is GOD MODE?

– God Mode is a shortcut to access all the operating system’s control settings from within a single folder. Its real name is Windows Master Control Panel shortcut, but it is popular as God Mode. It was introduced in Windows Vista and can be activated in all later operating systems.

Enable God Mode

Before going through the following steps, make sure your account has administrative privilege.

STEP 1: CREATE A NEW FOLDER

Right-click on the desktop, go to New > Folder to create a new folder.

Make sure you copy the entire text in bold above, including GodMode, the period and the bracket.

Copy the above text in bold and paste it as your folder’s name. You can name the folder anything you want like King Mode. Simply replace ‘GodMode’ before the {…} characters and you are good to go.

STEP 3: ACCESS THE GOD MODE

That’s it. Now when you open that folder, you can have access to all the settings on your computer. The settings are organized under various headings, from Administrative Tools to Autoplay to Color Management and so on.
